I have been staying a the local Holiday Inn on Carlton and made Fran's my go-to dinner spot. I work long hours, and it is a treat to have warm, fresh, healthy food options available late into the evening. It is nice to support a local restaurant directly, rather than see orders going through food delivery apps. They have been so friendly and even stepping into a restaurant to pick-up takeout right now is a chance to revisit good memories. I look forward to sliding into one of their booths, with a group of friends, and enjoying meals together when the world opens up again. In the meantime, supporting local, while enjoying comfort food is something this weary renovator is thankful for.

I just ordered eggs Benedict on ubereats. It came completely messed up and definitely doesn’t look like eggs Benedict. I was so disappointed by this order that I actually cried. Please get better packaging so the next person doesn’t have to waste money for nothing.
Great spot! The fact that it's 24/7 despite covid is even better! The food and service by the gentleman were amazing. Got the banquet burger and it was delish! Definitely coming back
Love Frans on College Street( not all are equal). Took my daughter many times for breakfast. We loved the atmosphere. Always warm and welcoming. The best is their Fish and Chips! Love it ! Efficient Service even during this Pandemic.
Fifties style diner in center of Toronto. Went here for breakfast a few times. Good choice is both savoury and sweet items. Quality and taste of the food is very good. Servings Canadian sized. Staff is friendly and service reasonably fast. Guests mainly locals. Interior is a bit worn. Prices a bit higher than average but good value for money.
