We used to come here regularly before the pandemic and the food was always great, so a couple of days ago while I was passing I stopped in and got dim sum takeout. Sadly the quality was unexpectedly poor in 3 out of 4 items. The har gow was very good as usual. The spring rolls tasted like MSG, and the chicken feet, while ok, had the taste of something that has sat in the fridge too long. The stuffed taro looked too pale and when I tasted it, it was not cooked (!) and I could smell spoiled rice. It was not edible, and we ended up throwing out the rest of the spring rolls also. This was very disappointing.

One of the few remaining dim sum places that actually have ladies pushing carts out with dishes you can choose from. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a staff member and proper COVID protocols were taken (contact tracing, hand sanitizing, etc.) The only thing that bothered me a tiny bit was the use of their dividers, it looks cheaply made and really doesn’t do much in terms of dividing the tables apart because it’s not made of plexiglass. Service and food was great, Dim Sum King has all the classic dim sums available but they’re safe options, nothing too memorable or outstanding.

Good dim sum at decent prices. Forgot to pack something I ordered but no harm no foul. Go for the dim sum staples and you’ll be satisfied.

Have returned. Would recommend. A true Chinatown staple that bustled with locals and tourists alike, providing good quality fresh cheap Dim Sum with a solid menu. While I wouldn't rate any of the staples as exceptional, either in size (Dragon Boat), flavour (Role San) or appearance (Rosewood), they're solid and get the job done. I would say the shrimp dumplings pack more than others. They do have a better range of pastries, such as durian pastry, which is decent. Overall, highly recommended locally owned and run staple. Pay them a visit!

Not the best, not the worst. Definitely the service is not refined but gets the job done. The location is a-ok and the sitting area is very spacious. The selection of foods is great and pricing quite competitive. The only issue is if you have any guests that are mobility impaired, the one and only elevator servicing the 3rd floor can prove to be quite the wait.
