To say I adore my dining room table is an understatement! I had a very, very particular vision in mind - but not the right vocabulary to \paint the picture\ so to speak. Niko was incredibly patient as we discussed, at length, what I envisioned and just how raw I wanted this table. He went above and beyond to make sure I understand what each of my asks would mean for the final look of the table. The table was delivered on time, assembled at the house and after a few weeks I decided I wanted to make a change. So he walked me through, step by step on how to do this and do it right. I was so impressed with the finished product and the service received that I went back for a fireplace mantle in less than a month. Will absolutely return to Niko for any custom furniture requests and will happily recommend Deadstok to all friends and family.
Niko and his partner are awesome. So helpful even for the smallest floating shelf project. The wood is beautiful and answer emails lightning fast. Will be back for sure.
We had Niko make us a custom mantle for our cottage fireplace and we absolutely love it! He encouraged us to select reclaimed telephone poles as the material for the mantle and we couldn’t be happier the wood had a beautiful warm look. They even left us just a sliver of the original exposed wood that really gives it that authentic Ontario telephone vibe while still fitting with our cottages modern rustic aesthetic. He has fair prices for amazing products and is just a gentlemen to boot. Highly recommend
From start to finish, the process working with Niko and his team was beyond wonderful. These individuals are clearly passionate about what they do and that love for their craft can be seen through their work. My husband and I moved into a new house and wanted to create a reclaimed wood wall in our bedroom. While we had a sense of what we wanted, we weren't quite sure what wood to use and needed some additional expert advice. I did my research of other competitors in the area and I can say I am beyond happy that we chose Deadstok Reclaimed for our project. From the very beginning, Niko was eager to answer any questions that we had, invited us to his shop to check out their wood samples and addressed all any concerns we had during the home consultation visit. We were beyond pleased to see the finished result—the reclaimed wood wall makes me smile every time I walk by.
