I haven't gone to many psychotherapists (in fact, only one) but I had good experience at Church Wellesley Counselling and Psychotherapy. First of all, in my opinion, psychotherapy is a constant process of working on yourself, and a psychotherapist is just a person who helps you to start and manage this process. You need to do all the work by yourself, and again, as I said before, a psychotherapist just helps and leads you. Volha was that person for me. I felt comfortable with her, and she gave me some ideas that helped me out. Besides that, it was just nice to talk to somebody who is ready to listen to you. I recommend her. She did her job well.

Thought I was the only one who got the impression that they were quite pushy about money, but apparently not. I understand time is valuable and paying for someone's services is especially important, but it is for the reason of that very strange and alienating obsession that I've decided not to continue here. They definitely don't fail to remind you not to leave without paying just as you're getting your wallet out. The thing that lost me was when I called in to cancel an appointment. There's a 24-hour notice policy. I was about 15 mins off the 24-hour notice mark and had to pay for the appointment anyway. It wouldn't have been so bad had they not have called me twice to come pay, and then insist on emailing me the invoice. Definitely not a very healing or therapeutic environment when during the appointments, they're looking at you with dead eyes while saying some falsely sympathetic words, followed by a flat "don't forget to pay".

They just want your money. Not helpful at all. Better off seeing another therapist that actually care about the client and not about the payment.

Been to many therapists and this is the first that gave me results. They treat you like a person here and not in some overly clinical way. Can't recommend enough!

I strongly recommend to visit a psychologist instead of psychotherapists. My insurance doesn't cover the counselling from the psychotherapist, even though the director is registered as a social worker, he is NOT helpful to fix in terms of your insurance claim. So regretful to have sessions there.

Low key and quiet place. Everyone is very friendly and they respect you. My counsellor has really helped me a lot over the past year. Everything can be scheduled online if you don't want to interact too much in person.

They only do this for the money and have no real sympathy. My mother out of nowhere at 2am was in pain and I had to bring her to the hospital. She needed assistance and I cant let my mother dwn like that. Therefore I end up missing the appointment. The told me I could no longef come unless I pay for the missed session. I explained the situation and they stated I should of gave them 24hr notice. Like really? Im sorry that I cant predict my mother was going to be in pain at 2AM in the morning and require assistance. Then again no one really cares.

Even though I had only one session with Adam , I give my first experience five star because I am very optimistic that he will guide me to work towards getting ride of my life stress . Adam seems kind , passionated and positive listener. Thus; I opted to write the initial feedback due to the intriguing impression I had. I will update my feedback through my sessions. Raffi
