I was looking for a "Taylor" guitar within my price range only due to it's reputation. Jesse suggested I try to play and feel the different guitars without looking at the brand or the price. After about trying 6 I ended up falling in love with this beautiful sounding guitar - and it was on sale.. and within my price range! I couldn't care less about the brand because it was perfect for me. I waited a few weeks to write this review to see how happy I am with my purchase and I can say with confidence that it was the best thing I have invested in all year. Someone once told me that it's worth getting a nice guitar you actually enjoy playing so that you will actually practice. I used to have a crappy guitar and barely picked it up but now I keep coming back to this one again and again just for fun ;-) Jesse was very patient and personable in helping you find what suits you. I've been to Long and Mcquade for guitars before but Busters Music can't be beat. He even threw in a guitar bag, humidifier, and capo at an excellent price. Walk into this place and see for yourself. You will not be disappointed :-)

Great customer service. I went to the store with my GS Mini that needs to be set up and immediately looked for Jessie. A couple hours later, I came home with my guitar, newly setup with a new set of strings. I was only charged 40 for everything: same-day guitar set up with new strings. Jessie is a great guy; he went above and beyond helping me as he always does to every customer. He even taught(&showed) me how to clean the fingerboard properly so I can do it myself in the future.
Such a great experience!! Went in for a guitar tune-up and was super pleased with what Jessie did. Not only did he do a fantastic job making my guitar brand new again, he was also very personable and explained exactly everything he did . Definitely shows he cares. Overall amazing experience, go to Jessie's at Busters Music on Bloor st!!!! I highly recommend it, I will be returning for sure.
Wow! Am I ever lucky I walked into this place when I did. I had planned to go to the city earlier that day hoping to find my first saxophone. I didn't really have a huge budget to work with, so I hit the pawn shops mostly. Everything was ether unplayable or way out of my price range. I had just walked out of a misic store that I thought was going to be my safety net and I'd have to settle for one there. But that store wanted about 800 for a student alto sax, and to be honest, the one I tried didn't inspire me all that much. It also didn't sound to great. So after walking out empty handed ready to go home and try another day, I look up and I see the sign "Buster's Music" ...so I gave it a shot. I was so impressed with this store! It was clean, organized, and the guys were so helpful. They were able to work within my budget and they let me try one. As soon as I ran my fingers down the keys... I knew I was walking out of here with that beautiful instrument. It also sounded amazing, I was in love! Thanks guys for helping me start my journey into music. After leaving this store on that day, I felt... inspired .
I went into Busters Music today to ask if the store handled guitar repairs. Under half an hour later I'm home with my guitar in perfect working order and a bag of knowledge to go with it. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff who were friendly and willing to answer any questions. Jessi not only fixed my guitar, but was also extremely informative, explaining the process and giving me some amazing tips for maintenance and instrument care. As I learnt today an instrument can last you a week or a 100 years depending on how you look after it. And I would recommend anyone who wants an instrument to stand the test of time to give these guys a visit.
Took my mandolin to Busters for a set-up. Jesse had it ready the same day. He cleaned it and made it look like new and put new strings on it, as well as setting it up. I'm very happy with the quality and service. Jesse is very knowledgeable and friendly and his prices can't be beat. Will always go to Busters for all of my musice needs.
I took 3 guitars to Buster's to get set up and each one looks and feels absolutely brand. Amazing price. They often have rare used guitars and other gear.
Brought my old telecaster here for a setup having read the positive reviews, and the setup still managed to exceed my expectations. The guitar looks and plays like brand new, and you won't find a better price anywhere. Highly recommend.
