This place has great selection, and some good finds you may have trouble finding elsewhere in-person, rather than ordering online. Some of their prices are a bit high and some just seem high, but if you calculate currency exchange and shipping from US or JP sources you may be comparing it to it may be a lot more convenient to just buy here. YMMV depending on what you're there for. Pre covid it was a cool place to check out when you're on Spadina. I think some of the pandemic-current reviews are a bit harsh, it's not really a time to be browsing stores - get what you need and get out, the same rules are being applied to every customer. Same with the bag thing, it's been that policy for as long as I can remember now, and for such a tight-aisled store, it makes sense - less worry about knocking stuff over or any damage, and they can worry less about some of the valuables being pocketed.

Fantastic location offering any Otaku goods you could imagine, particularly with the best selection of in store Gunpla kits I've come across yet. Very polite staff, two of which I meant that are also bi-lingual in English and Japanese! Thanks so much! I'll definitely be back!

I found a figure I’ve been looking for and put in an order. Order was confirmed and payment was processed. Two days after, they cancelled my order claiming it was not in stock due to error. That’s fine but two more days later, exact same product was re-listed as in stock for 100 higher price. I would have still purchased it for higher price if they explained the situation but just cancelling my order claiming there was no stock but in fact they just wanted to be cheap and increase the price. Based on other reviews too, I am not sure how you can trust these guys. Even people on Kijiji wouldn’t do this to others.
The staff was super friendly and helpful. Don't be afraid to ask for anything specific.
