At the corner of Sherbourne Street and Carlton street nestled in a beautiful garden is this conservatory.Full of tropical plants, cactus and succulents, its an oasis in downtown Toronto. All round the year the garden gets a new decor according to various themes like Mums festival. Spring/ Easter, Holiday spirit and decor. Backed by an army of volunteer, the garden organizes various evens for children. All through summer the children’s corner is buzzing with activities. Must visit if you are in the area.Check the pics taken during the Christmas time. Most beautiful and serene.

Allan Gardens is a beautiful green space in the otherwise green-deprived downtown Toronto. The Crystal Palace like building in the middle of the park houses many plants from around the world. The green expanse around it is an attraction by itself, especially on a sunny day. Take your time to sit on one of its many benches and watch busy Torontonians crossing through the park and others just enjoying the space or walking their dogs.

I got engaged to my soulmate here on Valentine's day 2020! So while it's easy for me to LOVE THIS PLACE there's a reason John picked there. We love the nature, turtles, cactuses and the bomb plant life!! (omfg the orchids) gorgeous spot go back when you can, and donate because its such a amazing place to have in downtown T.O. \u003c3

Allan Gardens is one of my favourite places in the city. I miss being able to go inside the historical and beautiful building, but the outdoor gardens are gorgeous when in bloom too! They care about and respect the diverse community around them. Allan Gardens is for EVERYONE.

I miss going here! A beautiful little spot for any season! A must visit spot for Toronto, and a great place to take cute "nature" pics :)

It's like an oasis in a concrete jungle. It has wide variety of plants, flowers, succulents, etc. which is a treat to the eyes. Wide colorful eye-catching and fragrant indoor flowers, it's a worthwhile trip to the conservatory. We also saw variety of fruits and vegetables being grown at the end of the tour. You may also find some of the best succulents like cactus arranged in many shapes and colors. I just wish that they also had a sale counter, I would really bought some plants back with me to my home. Some of the plants are not available in garden stores, so would've loved if they start selling some kind of plants for visitors to purchase.

Visiting Allan Gardens, for more than 50 years, we have always enjoyed our visits as a family and with friends. The staff have always been so attentive to the gardens over the years and have always been so polite. I totally understand if they react to some of the things people are seen doing. Like, sitting on the edge of cascading flowers for a photo or stealing pieces of plants. Most people are responsible visitors but others seem to think the greenhouse is theirs to do what they want. It's sad to see and I don't blame staff for pointing this bad behaviour out to those who take pictures while they damage the plants and pick the flowers.

It’s such a beautiful place. I love cabbage town so I always walk around the area and always stop by the Allan gardens. It’s like walking into a rainforest or something. I especially love the place where there are orchids and turtles! I just wish there were more benches to sit and enjoy the aroma.
