Modern fusion take on Russian food, definitely a place of its own kind! Would recommend everything on the menu, personal favourite right now however is the "Kamchatka" pelmeni! A beautiful combination of Russian flavours and Italian textures. Great ambiance, hospitable staff, definitely a place to return to

Haven't had Russian food before and this restaurant really packs in some delicious flavours in their food. The beef and ricotta dumplings were a favorite as were the empanadas. Service was fantastic with water filled and plates cleared regularly. Portions were a touch small but it really just means you can order more dishes.
Having visited Russia, the food here is definitely more "fusion" style, but that's okay! It's delicious and there are some really unique takes on European classics. For example, providing sunflower oil (very common in Russia) for dipping bread. The borscht is delicious and one of my favourite menu items, along with the saffron Negroni!
Very nice Russian restaurant. Not like the ones in the north of the city. Amazing food and service.
Delicious food, excellent service and a warm atmosphere. We love this cozy place and the creative Russian food they offer. You must try everything! Our favourites were: borscht, lamb, ponchiki, and kartoshka. The owner (Serguei) is full of passion and energy that is contagious. Very unique and intimate experience.
Came here a couple of weeks ago with a friend and have to say the experience was wonderful! The hospitality here is genuine in a way you don't typically find anymore and the food is excellent. We ordered a number of dishes to share but will definitely be back for the borscht and ALL the Russian dumplings (specifically the Siberia dumplings with lemongrass consomme)! Great spot for a date or just grabbing a bite before a night out. Would highly recommend checking it out!
Visited this place for a dinner last night with my girls. We all from “Eastern” block, so we already had our expectations set high (“good-old” traditional, family kitchen). Place is clean, decorated with taste, comfortable as well as modern. Mood set by discreet light music. Service was fantastic. Sergey did a great job taking care of our table. We were happy to learn he sources the ingredients from local farmers. Menu is very much reasonably priced, especially considering such careful ingredients choices. Food was delicious! We loved everything we tried. Dishes are filling, and taste pairings are refreshingly modern yet traditional. Definitely coming back for all the things that we did missed last night, as well as handmade dumplings, they are unreal. Thank you! Toronto is well known for its culinary diversity. It is because of places like this one we get to enjoy the best food from around the world.
