I consider this Studio my sanctuary :) I miss it so much and look forward coming back to it after the Covid-19 lockdown. Is beautiful place, you will feel calm and at ease as soon as you walk through.

889 Community is a beautiful and calming studio in the heart of Rosedale that offers Pilates, yoga, meditation and mama and babe classes. Prices are a bit on the higher end, but the setting (an 1800's Victorian home), the array of classes offered, the toxic free space, the boutique full of holistic health goodness, the educational pre-natal class and the approachable vibes oozed ultimate chillness. We'll be back for SHIZ.

The best studio in the area! Amazing team and instructors. Been going there regularly for a few years and I highly recommend it.

I have been using this studio virtually during the pandemic. The instructors are so awesome and do a wonderful job of explaining each pose. But beware when they call a move \juicy\ it means it's going to hurt! I'll be with these guys long after lockdown is over! For those looking for a studio, I highly recommend!

Went to a yoga class here that was restorative & reiki. The class was just over an hour long and we spent 20 minutes lying in corpse pose (on your back, doing nothing) with 3 other postures over the rest of the class. No ques for breath or meditative tips. I paid 33.50 for the drop in rate which is the single largest amount I have ever paid for a yoga class and was extremely disappointed in the class, completely aside from the rate. I teach yoga and am certified in yin and restorative and have never experienced a more idle class. The instructors did not smile a single time as I was preparing for the class and their hands were extremely cold when doing the modest \u003c1 minute reiki. There were also globs of hair on the floor which totally grossed me out. The least they could have ton is sweep up quickly before starting the next class. Overall a stunning studio but very pretentious and unwelcoming. The opposite of what a yoga community should be.
