Compass has some seriously good beer! My favorite is the Ship Wreck but they're all good! This place is a cozy nook to wet your lips. The barkeep is a great guy who is a delight to deal with! They even make a wild blueberry beer that typically comes out in the late summer and Fall!

Spent the day in Timmins and thought I'd try both Compass Brewing and Full Beard Brewing. Went to full beard first and was blown away at the subtle flavours and amazing variety. I was sadly disappointed by the flavours of the beers at Compass did not match my tastes as I thought were not very full flavoured and sadly of the five beers I tried, none of them I would buy again. I hope they improve the quality of the beers to match the hype around Timmins for this brewery. Due to an informative response by the owners I've thought about my review above and decided to add the following: This is a great local alternate to some of the more famous brews such as Sleeman or Labatt, I look forward to trying some of the brews I didn't have.
We stopped to pick up a few beers just before leaving Timmins, and we are so glad we did! We were greeted by Norm, who was a great help; he gave us samples, and told us all about each beer, including the ingredients and process. You could tell that he was passionate about what he does, and he definitely taught us a lot! I highly recommend making a stop at Compass, and tasting their fantastic, high quality beers. Cheers!
Compass Brewing offers an excellent selection of craft beer. You can also purchase some beautiful caps and shirts. The man who helped me choose my beers was very polite and knew quite a lot about brewing.
Brand new little place, though it is a little hard to see from the road, make the effort to spot it! Great beer and hospitality! If you are in Timmins, stop to try a flight and bring some home, we did!
