They accepted a 40 deposit to repair a vacuum and desk lamp yet 6 months later, we are not able to contact anyone to reclaim the items. Not holding out any hope on getting the deposit back. Phone number mailbox is full. The store is always closed. What is going on?

Locally owned and operated in Thunder Bay for 20 years. Excellent customer service, knowledgeable well trained staff, . Has always been the go to shop for repairs/service and replacement parts for all sorts of small electronics. Place has always seemed to have what your looking for or the ability to obtain it!
Six months ago I dropped off a lamp and paid a deposit for repairs. Please help me know if I will be able to retrieve my lamp. I have been by the shop many times, and called the phone number many times.
Is this place even open or a business? I called countless times, knocked on the door, all while the sign said open during his business hours, so I tried to message him on Facebook a few times and I got left on read each time. If you’re extremely busy let a customer know, not ignore them. This place is not run with good customer service in mind. Too bad it’s the only vacuum repair shop in Thunder Bay because this guy sure isn’t gonna repair it for you.
The number is disconnected, I believe they may have gone under. Very sorry.
We recently purchased a replacement central vac unit for our house from St. Paul Electric. When I went in to pick it up Dan had everything I needed to install it (fittings, etc.) all ready and he spent time explaining how to set it all up at home. The vac is now working (the power it has is incredible!) and we are extremely happy with it and with the great customer service we received at St.Paul Electric. They are reliable, knowledgable and their products and services are reasonable priced and guaranteed. I would HIGHLY recommend St Paul to anyone who needs any vacuum or air purifier products or service!
I have always had canister vacuums and not been happy with them. I now have a Panasonic Upright from St. Paul Electric and could not be happier. Dan took his time to explain the features and warranty. The vacuum is light and ergonomically designed for easy use. A very powerful cleaning machine.
I have had Dan at St. Paul electric install several Dynovac units. The product has exceeded my expectations in terms of quality and value. Dan is an excellent installer and very knowledgeable about these products - highly recommended.
