I originally ordered 48 yards of 50/50 mix topsoil. Contractor delivered 10 yds of the wrong material, and did not credit the full amount and remove the unwanted material. Contractor has changed name to 2625687 Ontario Inc O/A George Ward Contracting. On May 27/19 I paid 754.28 for delivery of soil May 28/19. Contractor replied that it was too wet and could deliver June 1, I agreed, Contractor stated he would be delivering 4- 12yd loads with no mention of a substitution due to supply issues. He delivered only 10yds later in the day than stated and admitted to substituted 25 black 75 red, in lieu of 50/50 mix. I immediately rejected the first load and did not get any further deliveries. Next day in an e-mail I received from the contractor he acknowledged I was not happy with the material, claimed his material was still frozen was "unable to complete your (MY) requirements...and will be issuing a refund". I was forced to find another supplier the next day and ordered and had delivered the material at a higher cost, despite the contractor claiming nobody in town had thawed black soil. I tried contacting the contractor by leaving several messages to confirm that a full credit had been issued with no charges with no response. I had followed up with multiple emails with no response. I finally connected with the contractor on and told him I had not seen an amount or credit com thru on my MC. Finally my bank confirmed that a credit was put in for 391.65. for 10 yards of soil I rejected. Complained wiht the BBB they were no help. I am out this money and the soil is still sitting there. Do not give this company your credit card or your business. you will regret it. You think you are getting a deal but you are not. If there was a zero starr rating he would be a -1

Hello, This is Mitchell from Ward Contracting, yes we did provide delivery and installation to your daughters home as requested. The requested ordered amount was short of what the home owner required. When they asked for additional topsoil, we quoted the cost and they expected it for (FREE), of course, we kindly declined, we do not provide free topsoil to customers that do not order the correct amount. Thank you.
Me and my husband needed some debris removed from our large property and George got the job done promptly and with a reasonable price. He was pleasant and good around our kids, showing them his big green truck and lights. We really liked his enthusiasm and would call him again for topsoil or removal of mulch and wood chip. Very impressed
Provided “ top soil” to my daughters home! Was supposed to level the yard and bring it to grade! The yard is full of rocks, he provided sand and rocks ! The yard is not level! When contacted he was rude! But of course he has his money so doesn’t care !
If I could put no stars, I would. We had terrible service from George. When we approached him about issues he was rude, extremely unprofessional and argumentative. He then just stopped answering. I would not recommend George Ward Contracting to anyone.
Great service went out of his way to get the job done...delivered 9 yards of material and provided assistance to get it where it needed to be.Thanks again. Only complaint
if you want a good service and a well done job then Do Not call this guy, he is a scam. if you still want to call him for your service good luck wasting your money.
