We only eat Serenna's chapati /Roti !! for many many years !!! Always soft and fresh. Amazing Awsome Service and people at Thumbs Up Foods or Serenna's Gourmet Cusine! Highly recommend it.
My friends and I have been using Thumbs Up Foods products since they opened up. Like any other business, there have been growing pains but the family owners have always been very accommodating......and aim to provide solid customer service. Always being innovative and coming up with new products.....BBQ season is here....use their marinades....excellent product....delicious and easy to use. Keep up the Alberta spirit of small business innovations and lets us all enjoy the samosas and rotis.....like home made.
Best chicken samosas ever! My family absolutely loves the samosas that Thumbs Up makes. My son is always ecstatic when he finds out we have them for dinner. Every time we are in Calgary we pick up a case of them!!
High quality, consistent, always delicious and well priced. I have been impressed with everything from their marinades to their samosas. Really happy to see an Alberta, family owned company knock it out of the park!

My family only eats Serennas rotis, which are the best! Fresh and no sour after taste, like most rotis that come from the Far East. Freshly made by our neighbor country, Canada up north! I get a case almost every six months/year when I go to Calgary or ask family/friends to bring it, when they visit me in Southern California. Unfortunately, not available here yet. Recently discovered that Smart FoodService Warehouse grocery stores in the Sacramento, CA area, carry Serennas Halal rotis, veggie pakoras and samosas. Thank you for this great product, as reminds me of my late mother's freshly cooked rotis!!
Their bread is good but customer service? Not so much. And they only take cash. Wonder why. Trying to evade the taxman perhaps? A proper establishment will always take at least a debit card. And the attitude of the woman when we said we had no cash left a lot to be desired. It's unfortunate that instead of appreciating customers more when a business gets going, some owners start acting as if they're doing us a favor by existing.
