I would not recommend this treatment center. I broke my knee while there and they refused to let me go for an x-ray. Told me it wasn't necessary when I knew something was wrong. Told me to walk it off and wasn't even given crutches. Then they'd continually ask me "what do you need" when I was acting out (as an addict it's hard to know what you need when what you said you needed they deny) I needed an x-ray!
Clean with friendly helpful staff
This place is not somewhere I would want to go back to, having said that it provided me a ton of tools to put in my toolbox, somethings seemed wasteful but a huge thing they teach you is self care which is a huge struggle but they work through it with u and don’t give up on you this place changed me for the better and will never regret my decision to go there I cannot thank the counsellors enough for how much time and energy they put into me, and I love the community aspect of it, it forced me to get out of my shell and not be alone to do destructive things did I relapse yes but that’s not because of them it’s because of me they can only give you the tools to be successful it’s up to the person to use them and since using the tools and willpower I have been clean for 8 months but I definitely thank them they changed my life!!!!
can't say enough good things about thorp and there staff ,they help me in so many ways. I Found out more about myself and my problems then i new, many thanks to all the counselors who help me and put me on the right track to recovery ,and all the staff, cooks ,and nurses for a great experience.
️ I love Thorpe. A family member did a 42 day program here and it has had a profound impact on him and the rest of our family. I highly reccomend the family intensive program. It really helped me learn about myself and addiction.
