This place has wonderful service and yummy food. My favourite restaurant around here. The food and drinks served fast and the prices are economical. Recommended.

I've been to Song Cooks over a dozen times since they have opened and they have had consistently tasty, well prepared and presented food over those visits. The most recent visit was even better than usual, perhaps due to less stress from a more manageable amount of customers. The black bean noodle and fried chicken was generous in portion and delicious. The side dishes were refilled without a problem. The price is a little higher than some other places, but you get what you pay for here. It's roomy inside with regular seating and also Korean style seating where you sit on a heated platform pretty much cross legged and the food is on a low table. I have to say that as I get older and less limber, a chair becomes more appealing. Service has been fairly good but they do not really customize your order. I don't find this to be an issue. It's set back in the plaza so isn't highly visible from the street but just drive in and go to the back where there is plenty of free parking. The opening buzz (with its crazy crowds) has faded and I think Song Cooks is settling in to some solid middle years where really good food will go hand in hand with good times. See you there!
Incredible jjajangmyun and porkbone soup. My whole family loved it. You guys serve the best jjajangmyun I have ever tasted, really glad I took my friend's recommendation. The doorman was extremely friendly and will definitely comeback for more
I went here back in September, and the moment we walked into the restaurant, my significant other and I felt like family. Not only was the food great, but the portions were large and you can tell it was made authentically and with love! The staff was very adamant on checking on us and bringing us whatever we needed. The staff also enthusiastically shared background stories about the cuisine and about Korean culture. If you are looking for great food, excellent service and warm atmosphere, this is your place!

The service was welcoming; my family and I kind of arrived and finished past closing time, but they were lenient, so we were grateful for that. The food was absolutely delicious and fulfilling!! The interior was fairly clean and orderly. I'd definitely come back here again. Authentic, indeed!!! It's a great place for big groups or parties.
