I bought my guitar here last month that I couldn'tfid it from no other place. Owner Al and Rob was kind and humble guy and they tried best for my purchasing. I recommend this shop if you have any plan to buy musical instruments.

I purchased a Fender Powercaster from this store and it was shipped to Airdrie, AB and at my door in less than 48hrs. The guitar was absolutely amazing, but sadly had some grounding issues. I immediately contacted Al, the owner, regarding the issue and acted right away to get things resolved. He went as far as even having a ZOOM meeting with me after store hours to help diagnose the problem. Al went above and beyond to help me out. Instead of making me ship the guitar all the way back to Edmonton, he contacted Fender and immediately hooked me up with a Fender-authorized repair centre in Calgary. Got my guitar back from warranty repair in less than a week in perfect condition and I couldn't be a happier customer. I look forward to doing more business with the Rock Shop in the very near future. You just don't get that kind of service these days. I can really tell Al is passionate about what he does and stands behind everything he sells. I am living proof.

I think that this store is nothing short of exceptional. I have personally taken lessons from the owner and have purchased two guitars from him. I have access to many music stores where I live, but I will never buy anything from anywhere other than here. Not only are the guitars incredible quality and a great price, but the knowledge that the owner possesses is priceless in itself. After reading these reviews I am saddened to see that the actions of one terrible employee, whom which is no longer there, is representing the company in a way that it absolutely does not deserve. If you plan on buying anything musical I wholeheartedly recommend The Rock Shop in west edmonton mall. Also, if you have the chance to take lessons with the owner, it is WELL worth your money. He took me from a complete novice player with no musical background to playing the Beatles, The Ventures and Kansas songs within a matter of weeks. I am so grateful that places like this exist!!!

Al is a genuine musician and as an amateur it made all the difference in choosing my new guitar. He trusted me with his product and gave me the space I needed. He was also very intuitive on my style and gave me suggestions that were serious game changers for my pallet. For me, this was my overall favorite experience purchasing an instrument. I will definitely recommend my family and visit the store regularly.
