I took my elderly father to shop here. He got on the scooter and had a great time shopping. The staff was very attentive and patient and he left with a big smile. Kudos to Jason in plumbing especially.

thee place to go for all your home improvement needs, tool heaven, has tool rental and seperate entrance for contractors, customer service and staff very helpful, definitely stop here for electrical, plumbing, carpentry needs, social distancing in effect but not really monitored, can get busy most days, hand sanitizer available, masks required, washrooms available but not cleaned that often, window and paint department are great, appliances and flooring also great,

Great customer service and great selection. Patrick in the painting section goes above and beyond to ensure that customers are satisfied and happy with their paint. He is very knowledgeable and patient, and he is an incredibly hard worker. Many of the other employees are also excellent, but to me, Patrick stands out. The selection of parts, materials and tools is great, too. There’s everything you need, for beginners or pros, and the prices are quite reasonable. The checkout could be a little faster, especially during peak hours, but it’s no problem when you aren’t in a hurry. Overall, it’s a great store. Well done! EDIT: Came back to the store and was also impressed by Justin’s customer service in the paint section. He quickly exchanged the wrong paint I had previously bought, and was very friendly and helpful. Justin and Patrick are two excellent employees.

Poor customer service- I ordered a barn door and hardware on Home Depots website to be picked up at the store. I had received notification that hardware was ready for pickup however I never not a notification that the door was ready but I could see it was showing in Saskatoon and ready for pickup on my tracking so my husband went there to pick it all up. They gave him all the hardware and told him to pull into the lumber pickup area to get the door. When he pulled up a lady came out and asked him if he was here for the barn door and he said yes, she said “oh well it’s damaged”. He asked how bad and she said it was bad. We had already dealt with a damaged barn door from ordering at a different large brand store so to hear that the one we ordered from Home Depot was damaged too was extremely disappointing. My husband then asked why we were not called and told about this damage (we live out of town) and the lady in customer service told him we should have called them...huh??? Seriously?! How were we to know it was damaged!? That attitude is absolutely horrible. Needless to say we returned everything and now we are searching AGAIN for another barn door.

Friendly and helpful employees, as always! I came looking for some light switch covers, a bathroom light fixture and a new faucet... overwhelmingly large selection for faucets but that gave a nice price and style variety. They don't carry the type of light fixture I needed but were quick to recommend the best/closest place to go for it (which they've been really good about doing in the past too if they don't carry what I need).

Home Depot stores have a wide range of products, and well stocked shelves. After several experiences, I can no longer take a chance on anything where the package appears to have been opened. Invariably, you get the product home to find it is missing some part, or is broken or not working.
