Contracted Technopost to install four posts to support a deck extension. Admin over the phone were great to deal with. Morning of the installation the crew arrived early. However, their large truck blocked the neighbour’s garage and he wasn’t impressed. Then I told the installer the exact locations and heights I wanted the posts installed to. After they were installed, the guys left. Later, I noticed two of the four posts were installed to different heights. So I called and the guys had to come back. I told him again of the exact heights and they adjusted accordingly. When I went to construct the deck I realized two of the four posts were still at the incorrect height. And to boot, one of the four posts was out of square. I was too frustrated to call the company back and ended up ripping down my grade beam to compensate for the foul up and was able to hide the out of square post under the stairs. Bottom line, happy with the posts but terribly disappointed with the installers. Didn’t really seem he knew what he was doing. For that reason, I wouldn’t recommend this company.
Quote was very attractive and level of service was sensational. I was a bit of a problem client for these guys as I first had to call back the screw pile technician to widen my saddles and due to some confusion on my part, my screw piles weren't high enough. Techno post quickly resent the technician and a welding crew to remedy the situations. Both problems were promptly and efficiently addressed. From dealing with Paula who set up the job, the screw pile technician, and even the welder who was involved, all of my interactions were pleasant, professional and helpful. Fantastic job!
