Fun exhibit for the whole family. We were the only people there when we arrived and took advantage of that to ask a lot of questions, which were all answered (in English) with great enthusiasm. We really enjoyed our visit and highly recommend this to anyone passing by Tadoussac. If in town for a whale cruise, you may find packages that will include tickets for this centre, which makes going here an absolute no brainer! COVID-19 protocols were in place and we didn't get a feeling that it had much of an impact on our visit. Of course, it helped that we were the only people there at opening since the guide was able to help answer our numerous questions. Again, I highly appreciated this visit and the staff's willingness to answer all our questions.

Staff are knowledgeable, and the exhibition is well curated. I could have spent the whole day there learning and talking about whales. Only 12.50 entrance fee and the gift shop is reasonably priced, products made in Canada/Quebec plus all proceeds go the Centre and whale research/conservation. Highly recommend!! Also, go before you go on the whale watching cruises so you can be more knowledgeable when you see the most amazing creatures in the world.

Very nice for children's. For the adult, they give information about the whale skeletons suspended on the roof, which are all real. A big plus, the entry fee serves for marine biology research and protection efforts.

It's actually pretty small, but you can learn a lot about whales, belugas and other marine life. They also show a nice video that tells the story of a orphan beluga. It was very interesting. It's with the time and money.

The Marine Mammal Interpretation Centre (or CIMM) is a 'must-see' if you are in Tadoussac, Quebec. It's a small but very informative centre that will help you understand the marine life in Quebec Maritime/Cote Nord and Saguenay/Lac St. Jean. Situated at the beginning of the Saguenay Fjords, this unique centre has displays and exhibits, a gift shop, plus a permanent collection of skeletal whale bones. There are introductory short films you can watch in the small theatre along with skeletal bones of whales (which you can touch), study and learn from in the museum. This is both a research facility and an interpretation centre with knowledgeable staff to show you how to spot the different whales in the St. Lawrence Seaway. You are also a stone's throw away from the pier where you can take a whale watching tour. I recommend that tour highly.

Nice trail to the viewpoint. We saw 3 kinds of whales in 30 min from shore!
