Happened across Doc’s Town Heritage Village within Kinetic Exhibition Park while visiting Swift Current for the 2019 Western Canada Summer Games. Was lucky enough to be there while the Village was open and was able to tour through some of the buildings. The exhibits are interesting and the volunteers are friendly and eager to explain the history. I recommend everyone visiting Swift Current to spend some time here.

Went to the gun show. Always a good setup at this show in particular. Something for everyone. Easy venue to find. Good food on site. Lots of parking. Plus carts to wheel out your buys.

A really useful venue, a mix of history and practicality. The stock car races are good entertainment.

A very poor setup for the campground. Expensive for having no picnic table. No privacy. The campsites are side by side. When the wind is blowing you are in a dust bowl. Good luck figuring where the boundaries are for the campsites. Most sewer caps need a hammer to remove. They should go to Taber to see how to run a campsite. Many thumbs down.

I go there to walk inside during the winter in the Stockade. It has the softer soccer floor and is about 1 min. around for me. In 1 hour I'm able to walk over 8000 steps which is about 3.5 to 4 km. This is a city program. They charge 1 dollar per day or 4 dollars per week . It's a good deal and gives one great exercise. I'm happy I have a place to walk safely in the winter to avoid the ice and snow.
