Can't give it less than one star or I would. There are landfills cleaner and nicer than this place. From the outside alone if you are even considering this place it's likely time for a step up in life. Come here if you want to immediately feel like a tetanus and hepatitis shot is necessary after opening the door. Do yourself a favor and go to McDonald's instead...

They are trying hard to turn this into an exciting venue, in some regards they are succeeding and in some it will take time to bring it up to where it could be. I would highly recommend that management focus on some of the small things that would be easy to fix, like an incredible amount of cobwebs behind the atm, loose plastic flooring and teetering stools. One afternoon could fix so many of these things and bring up ratings immediately.
The venue is actually quite good. Don't be fooled how trashy it might look on the outside. Inside they have a good clean concert venue that's great to go to. Entrance is tricky to find though.
I've only been since the new management took over, but I have high hopes for the venues here. Drink choices are really lacking and the red solo cup aesthetic does the place no favors, but these are not hard issues to remedy. I really look forward to seeing more live music and comedy here
Nice little bar open till at least 11:45pm during the week. Free pool Mon to Wed. Very nice bartender! Great little joint!

A fantasticly terrible dive bar. It's newly 'renovated' Byrd pub is very reminiscent of the note closed media club.
Excellent live music since it's been reopened.
