As previously noted, Skydance was the Pacific Press printing plant in it's first incarnation. I knew that building well; through the miracle of downsizing, I became part of the cleaning crew there. When it was built, it was briefly the largest & fastest printing press in the world. The printing press was 1/4 Mile long, about 4 stories high. As a cleaner, I knew the building literally top to bottom; I was the only crew member to do the main Hall walls top to bottom, & I was small enough to fit in & clean the mechanical pits in the floor, & everything in between. Nice to see the old girl has such a wonderful new career!
