I strongly suggest anyone looking to buy a used truck here to take it to a shop that they trust to do a full inspection before signing anything. The shop they use for safety inspections in Surrey is useless. They put a sticker on the truck, and made up an invoice to show over 4000 worth of repairs, but in reality, very little was done. On my first trip after taking the truck off the Pride lot, I was in a shop every day in the first week, and spent almost 4000 having to repair the truck, most of which should've been checked in the safety inspection. The truck was supposed to be detailed before I picked it up. It was cleaned, but really poorly. You could see dirt on the floor, footprints, and mold around the fridge, drawer, and on the mattress. After pointing it out, I was told that the truck would be detailed again, and the mattress would be replaced with a new one. The truck never was cleaned again, and the moldy mattress was turned upside down! When I showed them the mattress, they replaced it with another used one from another truck, and put the moldy one in the other truck! If you're planning to buy a used truck from Pride in Surrey (Vancouver), make sure you get a proper inspection, and check the interior carefully, including the mattress. They might be trying to give you the moldy one! The one positive thing I have to say is that the salesmen are friendly and easy to deal with, until you take the truck off the lot. After that, you're on your own.
