If I could give 0 stars I would. They have the worst service I have ever seen. The office administration lack in making sure the client is receiving all scheduled appointments for the day. When you inquire about missed appointments no proper response is received. They change the appointment times to fit their needs not the clients. On top of that, majority of the HCA's have no compassion and just come in to get the job done quickly. For a 30 minute appointment they leave in 5 minutes. When you follow up with the client care manager nothing gets done. I feel for the clients that live on their own and have no one to advocate for them.

If you are going to use this company, be aware that it is disorganized. They make an appointment and then change the time repeatedly (for example, an appointment would be for 9:00am, then they'd call that morning to say 11:00am, and then call again to say 1:00pm. Someone would finally show up later in the afternoon). Sometimes I left a message to cancel an appointment on a particular day, and yet they kept phoning to book an appointment that day. There is a wide range in their employees - some are great, some do as little as possible and try to leave early. While you may book them for a full hour, they often leave after 40-45 minutes, saying they can't do anymore because they have to drive to the next client's house. This happens whether the job is done or not. One staff person said I looked fine (I have fibrogmyalgia and one cannot see my pain or dizziness from the outside of my body) and that I could finish the job! The company is low-priced, and again, some of their people are good though some are not. If you go with CBI, you have to be patient and not too particular!
I use the Vancouver/Surrey office. Missed appts, no-shows, billing discrepancies - even when I contacted BC's regional office to complain, nothing improved. Be warned - if you have a vulnerable loved one expecting care, their provider may never show up to feed them, bathe and give them the help they need because office staff continues to make dangerous mistakes. I love our caregiver Rose, but the company is a mess.
