Adopted my cat from here September 2020. It's my first cat/pet ever so I really appreciated the staff patiently answering all the questions I had when I started the process. They walked you thru the process of adoption and tell you how you can take care of your cat properly after you take the cat home. I'm very happy with my cat, he's the love of my life. I will recommend anyone who wants to get a cat to look at SPCA also this adoption centre. Thank you so much, Taizo.

I was down to only one guinea pig and started looking for more. Learned my lesson last time to not go to the petstore and get males. Looked online and in surrey they had 3 very cute female guinea pigs that were listed at 5 years old and i was like, who surrenders 5 year old guinea pigs? So I called and told them I was going to come in and look at them but definitely wasn't picking them up today since I wasn't set up for it. They corrected me that they were more like 5 MONTHS old, that the years listing was an accident. I of course fell in love with them immediately and they were (gently) urging me to take them that day. They'd apparently been there too long and they were considering moving them to another location. They were excited at the prospect of someone who knows how to take care of them interested in taking all three. I did after they offered to help me get set up, lent me gating and a carrier (which I SWEAR I'm returning this weekend), a couple towels and even plenty of hay for a few days. Took them home and began the gradual process of fully setting up their new home. On the way out the door they suggested I leave a review online if I was so inclined, so I am. They are now Honey Bear, Domino, and Peanut Butter.

Amazing staff! Super helpful with navigating adoption papers and overall really personable and friendly. I appreciate the steps they took to ensure if I was the right candidate to adopt. Bravo!

The staff are both knowledgeable and caring. The organization has done it's best to make the best possible home for the animals. I took my girl group for a tour here and the educators Allison and Sarah we're very accommodating and understanding. They knew the concerns and questions of the youth and are great advocates for animals.
