My brakes failed on my cube van on a trip from the island last week and I was fortunate enough to be in the vicinity of ARL. It was Saturday afternoon, most shops were already closed or close to closing and refused to look at my vehicle. I called ARL and, even though they too were near closing and usually work on commercial big rigs, they checked out my vehicle and tried to get me back on the road and were willing to stay past closing without additional charges. Unfortunately, once the wheels came off another issue, disintegrated wheel bearing, came to light and required a part that was not available until Monday. I had friends in Abbotsford that said I could stay at their house though they were away and could therefore not come get me. The service manager had one of his staff drive not just me, but also my dog and some rabbits I had purchased, from Surrey to East Abbotsford. They did an awesome job fixing my van, and even cleaned/tightened my battery terminals which had been given me starting problems. When I picked up my van, another pleasant surprise awaited me - the invoice was less than I had feared given the amount of time they spent on my vehicle. From the front office staff to the mechanical staff - everyone there is absolutely awesome. Kal tire referred us to ARL (only useful thing they did) But for that I will thank them. What a wonderful group of human beings. Like Candy's review we were in a predicament and without any hesitation they jumped to our aid. Our loose fender bracket was ground down so that it could be affixed securely and even helped us back out by stopping traffic. And the rates are excellent especially considering they are in such a prime place on Annacis island. We were extremely thankful for their assistance (and friendliness) Definitely will return and encourage our companies owners to have our fleet utilize them as well. Great job guys!!!! BTW back in. lmao
Great service, excellent mechanics, a great family atmosphere! The boss and his sons bent over backwards to help us out! Have to say a big thanks to Premo the main guy who worked on most of it , the owner Andre even gave us a break on the cost , was one of the over all best experiences at a mechanical shop , that I have had in years! Thanks everybody their from the front to the back ! EXCELLENT!
