PoliticsNOW is a grassroots organisation that has an ambitious goal: to get more women to run for municipal councils in northern Ontario than ever before. The organisation aims to facilitate the entry of interested women into politics. To do this, they will run campaign schools, connect potential candidates with supporters and mentors, hold town halls for women candidates, etc. They want to make sure that women feel supported every step along the way, and that every woman who has ever dreamed of running for a position in politics can.
