Found this place several years ago and is one of the top bed and breakfast places in Stratfod. Elena and Dom are wonderful hosts and their breakfasts are wonderful and delicious. They are always trying out new dishes. Attentive hosts that have a wonderful turn of the century house with original details and decor. I cannot recommend a stay here enough. Make sure you book early as they always fill up quickly.

Beautiful Century home built in 1904. Very detailed with period decor. Stayed in the Sandringham room. Just gorgeous...specifically the shower floor..love the peeble floor. Elena & Dom are very personable...great demeanor and kind. Excellent hosts. Morning started with coffee on the Veranda at 8....very serene and relaxing. Breakfast was served at 9am...and it was delicious. Freshly made...starting with fruits, then eggs whipped and sides To top all that off was a scrumptious dessert. All the coffee and juice you can handle. Highly recommended. We will be back.
We stayed as a party of seven, six of whom had dietary issues of varying degrees. Elena and Dom were most accommodating to our needs, serving several different breakfasts of excellent quality. Elena was particularly sensitive to our needs, all while being a gracious and welcoming host. You are guaranteed an excellent night's sleep, especially since you will be provided with a real pillow, not the imitation pillows you get in a large hotel. We heartily recommend Birmingham Manor and will return again.
If you are traveling to Stratford for theatre or any other reason, the Birmingham Manor should be your place to stay. For about five years we have stayed at the Birmingham Manor, five days each year and we have always been amazed at how well we were treated. Elena and Dom are excellent hosts, friendly and caring. The rooms are immaculately cared for and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast is served each morning with food prepared by the loving hand of Elena who by the way is an excellent cook. Even locals talk about spending the night there just to sample a breakfast of Elena's cooking. The hosts are well informed on the plays which are being performed each festival and can answer any questions you might have about them. We have enjoyed each stay at Birmingham Manor and look forward to next year when we will again enjoy the comforts of this wonderful B&B. **Update** We have stayed at the Birmingham Manor for seven years in a row now, and we enjoy it more and more each year. Elena and Dom are fantastic hosts. Every year we find that they had made improvements to their already beautiful and comfortable house, and the breakfasts are still delicious and first-class. We recommend the Birmingham Manor to everyone.
This is our ‘go to’ spot in Stratford. The Manor is a peaceful oasis with a lovely wraparound porch where you can enjoy your coffee before breakfast and a glass of wine later in the day. The rooms are lovely, quiet, luxurious. The breakfasts are delicious (and always different....we have stayed here over 10 x and have never had the same meal!). We park our car here, and walk everywhere...all theatres and restaurants are in reasonable walking distance. What makes this place so special, though, are Dom and Elena. They are very special and welcoming hosts. We give this spot the highest recommendation possible. You will not be disappointed.
Elena and Dom were spectacular hosts. They showed us around their wonderful home, gave us tips for our stay, arranged walking tours for us, fed us a DELICIOUS three course breakfast, and even reached out to us after we'd left to remind us that we'd left some things behind. They left our belongings out on the front porch for us to pick up. They went above and beyond the duties of hosts. Plus, they're just really sweet, personable people. They made us feel at home. They made our stay in Stratford that much more special.
Ever since meeting owners, Dom and Elena last year in Florida, we discussed visiting Statford and staying at Birmingham. We were finally able to do this on July 3. We also attended the musical "Billy Elliot" which was beyond our expectations. Dom and Elena are amazing hosts, caring for every detail of every guest with dignity and class. Our multi-day stay was an ever varying explosion of breakfast delight followed by wonderful theatre. Returning each evening to such a quiet, peaceful room meant we could arrive back home after our vacation and not need another vacation to recover.. . . .. a first. See you next year.
