I own Aura Landscaping Inc and was doing a project around the corner from their Stoney Creek yard which I've never dealt with HBS before. I went to order triple mix and found the customer service great and delivery quick. I dealt with Cam the branch manager and he was very helpful and even showed me all the different products they sell, and explained their contractor policies to me. Went here a few days ago to get some supplies, the staff were excellent, well trained, and intelligent in their dealings with me. The two young gentlemen at the counter were especially helpful. (The young asian with the smile and his other friend!)

I am a contactor relocated from Toronto, and have become a regular at the Lloyd St location when requiring the materials they offer. Regarding the Stoney Creek location, and without needing to get into detail regarding what transpired, I found the customer service offered from two individuals (the younger fellow at the main counter, and the individual who seems to be in charge of the yard) somewhat lacking. On two occasions in the last number of days (I will not be returning there) I have experienced what could be called attitude. Specifically the fellow at the counter would simply be difficult (passive aggressive) for no good reason, on what were routine and mundane transactions. Acts like a jerk basically. His employer should take note. In contrast, the older fellow at the main desk was cheerful, helpful, and all one could hope for as a consumer.
