******AVOID******VERY POOR SERVICE! Broken dishes with defects arrived from online order. Reported it as instructed on poorly copied document that accompanied goods. After 4 days - NO NEWS.

Fat and Funny

What a disappointment. It takes a lot for me to give minimal stars. We bought two boxes of plates and a knife during the Friday sale. We waited weeks for the items to arrive. We finally had to write and a was told it would be sent fedex overnight. The next day one box arrives with the knife and nothing else. We waited a day or two and wrote again. It took a few days only to told that they didn’t have the plates. Had we not reached out we never Would have been told anything. Oh too if it we paid extra for “safe shipping.” This is poor customer service and we received no apologies for the service. We bought these plates for Xmas and now we are stuck trying to figure this out only days before Xmas. Shame on you Stokes

Waited 3 weeks for an order shipped from Montreal to Montreal, when I finally arrived, the jars I ordered were in pieces! They were literally in a box with a piece of flimsy bubble wrap on the bottom of the overly bug box and some sealed air product care. Nothing was protected let alone glass! Every time i sent an email to enquire why my order hadn't shipped i got the same automated response. Save your time and energy and go to Aeres Equipment or Canadian Tire.

I forcibly give this 1 star review since I ordered a birthday gift in advance (knowing that there would be delays due to COVID-19) and have still gotten nothing. I ordered a measly set of cutlery on June 10th 2020 for a birthday on July 5th 2020. It is now July 21st and nothing. Soon will be 2 months since I ordered... I got an "order confirmation", if you can call it that at this point, where I emailed the e-commerce address as well as called the telephone number mentioned for "help". Well 3 emails later, and 2 phone calls with messages to customer service later, no one answered nor called back. I doubt anyone works there and the emails are being sent to a computer in a fishtank, and the phone is ringing in a 100ft deep abandoned mine. I also find it extremely efficient to have the clerks in Stokes stores completely disconnected from ANYTHING related online, rendering them useless. So if you want something from this so-called company, please go in person because no human manages the online portion; it's all goldfish.

I bought a blender from Stokes online and it broke within a couple of uses. I called and emailed them to ask if they have warranties, since the warranty page on their website doesn’t work. No one called or emailed me back, and it’s been weeks. I’m never buying anything from this company again.

I bought an item at Stokes Black Friday event. There were flyers and signs all over the store, even at the cash register, advertising an additional discount when you scratch a ticket. When the cashier tried to enter the additional discount, she got a message saying the discount wasn't allowed. Neither of us could find anything that said there were any exceptions regarding the additional scratch discount. I've emailed Stokes three times and no one will reply.
