They do not respect privacy, expect to have your things gone through while your away, set up a hidden camera and see for yourself.
Robert Herman JR. refuses to call me back because he feels as though he is above everyone else and has no respect for anyone he rents too.
The worst rental experience you could ever have. The agency here is inresponsible and unreliable, change their word every times, rush you through the rental process without informing you all the details of their charge. If you are new to town, try to find a rental through FB group or other rental agency. This one is really the worst.
We have been with Sterling for almost 10 years combined (2 different units). We love them, they come to fix things asap. The guys are always pleasant and respectful.The girls in the office are friendly and helpful. We get treated well by all.
They are known to deduct from your security deposit for whatever reason upon moving out. That being said they have some njce staff working at the front.
Crooked and corrupt management ! I hope this company shuts down soon.
I have worked with Sterling to manage 2 buildings and 3 rental units for over 2 years. Their local market knowledge and advice is paramount as I live in Vancouver and depend on their expertise. This has been overwhelmingly beneficial to me. Two units had floods, and Sterling was on it and corrected before I was even aware. They managed the fixes in an extremely efficient and cost-effective manner. This was very helpful in dealing with the insurance companies. Their accounting procedures and documentation is always first rate and accurate. They are credible, knowledgeable, responsive, and professional. And simply good people to deal with from top-to-bottom. Particular kudos to Robert Jr. - fabulous to work with. With over 40 years of investment experience, I truly appreciate Sterling's professionalism. I sleep better knowing I have such great partners in Fort St. John to look after my investments.
