“I was homeless for a while after living in London, ON and came to Walnut Manor 9 years ago. Since living here, my life has vastly improved. Life is easier and I am more at peace and more independent. I feel like I have support in the areas I needed support. The staff at Walnut Manor are great. They are managed well and provide me a high level of care. And I think Pat and Kodie are great!”

I had no place to stay so I started living with a roommate and it didn’t work out because the environment was not good. I ended up at Walnut Manor supportive living. there was a lot of negative aspects in my life. now I feel like my life is heading in a positive direction and I have more stabilaty and peace of mind. I still manage things on my own and have seasonal work but I have a personal space here, good conditions.this home is a safety net due to the negative circumstances around me and my medication is managed, I get meals, and a place to shower

Lived in so many places like Ottawa, Gatineau and was in another residence on Victoria Ave in an apartment with my mother. When she passed away, I found it financially difficult to live on my own and moved to Walnut Manor Supportive Living Residence. I have a good CMHA worker and I have my support and independence here. The staff is pretty good and I have a few friends. And sometimes my brother comes over to visit. We go out to the movies. I used to be a network administrator, so sometimes help out with any IT issues to keep myself busy.

I was in North Bay in the hospital and transferred to Walnut Manor Supportive Living Residence where I have been for the last couple of years. I have made lots of friends here and I am supported by the ACTT team and the medication program. I like the staff, Kodie, Brittney and Pat. I go for walks, sometimes with my social worker and I am in the gym with my own special program. I recommend people who are looking for housing and support to live at Walnut Manor
