Went for a hike around the Dalewood reservoir and it was a lovely hike. Beautiful fall colours. This is not an easy strolling hike, lots of exposed roots and hills. The path was busier than I expected with cyclists, hikers and runners making their way around the 6km trail! I was surprised to see that many people out for such a long hike! Good to see people keeping in shape and spending time outdoors! Many different kinds of trees and plant life.

Spent 3 night at the Dalewood Conservation with my Fiance and our French Mastiff and we enjoyed every minute of it. Site was quiet and well kept, lots of wildlife to watch and staff were great! Went above and beyond to help us with everything we need! Definitely recommend checking this little gem out.

Stayed for Labour day weekend. - long 8o foot sites - lots of seasonals - New power with good flow - 50 psi water pressure - #146 & #147 are the perfect spots if you want to face a friend without the utiliy pole in the middle - no sewer - ratty picnic benches - hard grass surface - little bit of road noise for our site - constant park patrol - do not recommend swimming in reservoir. Water crafts yes - lots of dogs and gulf carts - propane bangers firing in nearby field. Bit annoying - 9.00 for fire wood - good dump site with new hose - gated entry - nothing really to do here so bring friends
