I have known Brian for several years now. Incredibly knowledgeable - understands the game of golf better than most people from a mental, physical, emotional, and technical perspective. For context, I consider myself a novice golfer and I’m happy if I shoot near 100. I’ve been playing casually for years but have never had a consistent set of clubs nor have I had any lessons. I decided I wanted to make a change but with being self-taught, I have developed terrible swing habits over time. I recently visited Brian to get fitted for a set of irons. He started out with an analysis of my current clubs as well as my swing. We then moved on to testing out different shafts, club heads, and grips to get a sense of what performs & feels best for me. During this time, Brian was consistently analyzing my swing and instructing changes along the way. Occasionally we would stop to do some drills which helped correct some of my many issues. I gave Brian my budget and after a lot of trial and error, we landed on the right configuration which met my current skill level while also leaving room to grow. After Brian ordered parts and built the clubs, I returned to the shop to test them out. I’m happy to say that the clubs felt great and although there’s lots of progress left to be made, I can walk on the course with confidence knowing that I have a great set of irons that were built just for me. In the end I had a very positive experience. I sincerely appreciate Brian and his integrated lesson/fitting approach which has already made me a much better golfer. It was well worth the money and I highly recommend it!
Brain Just wanted to thank you for your professionalism in fitting me with the new driver and five wood. From the first time out hit them longer and straighter than ever before. Swing tips I'm sure were part of it and I know I have work to do on that front.....but the clubs just feel super comfortable and I couldn't be happier having the confidence they are right for me Best regards Kirk
Over the last three decades all of my clubs have been custom fit and if you had suggested that a fitting could take more than four or five hours I would not have believed you. Having been fit by Brian for a new set of PXG irons, I now wonder how you can do it in any less time. The fitting was meticulous and the final result is a superb set of irons that I hit with confidence.
I recently bought some clubs from Brian and got an experience I just wasn't expecting. The club fitting sessions took over 4 hours, but I got much more than I bargained for. It was also an extensive teaching session, one of the better teaching sessions I have ever had. Brian is a great club fitter and great teacher. Brian gave me the tools I need to be able to put some good practice sessions together over the winter, both swing exercises and fitness exercises. I can't wait to try my new customized clubs next year after I have followed Brians training tips - I am expecting to see some major improvements!
