I took my rings for a regular cleaning which I do twice a year as their direction, but it was my first time taking them to this St. Albert location. My consultant, Alex was very professional, seasoned and pleasant. She carefully examined my rings and discovered one of the many diamonds on one of the rings was missing. In spite of my concerns, she swiftly finished up her document work and arranged to send it away for a repair with no charge. I was very pleased with her wonderful customer service and excellent knowledge. I was told that it would take some time to get my ring repaired as they need to find the exact matching colour of diamond. I’m glad to know that they like to take the time to do the job right. The estimated time of completion is mid March. One of the finest jewelers in town. Highly recommended.

Had the worst experience here. Went in with my fiance to look for wedding bands for both of us. Not only did the salesperson not even bother to ask what our budget was - she kept bringing out rings that were way out of our price range and kept insisting that it was what we really wanted and it looked better. We both wanted simpler bands. The lady kept telling me the rings I liked were for "little girls and I needed something more expensive" and refused to show me any of the rings I liked. She kept bringing out the most expensive, flashy bands and told me that nobody cared about my engagement ring so I should get an expensive wedding band instead.. She laughed at me when I asked questions. She laughed at my fiance for wanting to wear non-metal band. Very high pressure sales with no regard to what the customer actually wants.

Out of all the jewelry stores we looked at for engagement rings, Peoples in St.albert was amazing only because Krista helped us out. She was honest, did not pass any judgement & gave us so many options for our price range & for what we wanted. When I picked up my ring from it getting sized, we did deal with somebody different and that experience was not great. She seemed to have thought we had the ring previously, when really it was the first time I was able to have & wear it. we had to ask for a box for it. she kept doing the diamond test with her tool, but the tool wasn’t working for some “reason” ( she wasn’t even touching the diamond??) so she kept insisting it was a real diamond and she knows what diamonds look like. It was just a very weird experience picking up the ring. But overall if you come to this location, ask for Krista because she’s the best.

Went to the St. Albert location for ring resizing for my wedding band set. Had the worst experience of my life!!! First I received a receipt showing I would receive my rings back in two weeks and it would cost me 120 for both rings. After a month they finally called me and told me that it was going to cost me 549 for both rings but they didnt know why..... the next day someone called me and said the reason for the change in price is because they needed to add extra gold to the band because they were thin and about to break. I did not recollect this but they were going to check to see if it was necessary.... they called me back again and said the price is three hundred and two dollars for one ring and three hundred and ninety nine for the other... I was flabbergasted! How does the price keep going up. Well apparently two people in the store think that the words three hundred and ninety nine means 300.99........ they also changed the reason why I needed to pay so much more, now the reason is because the setting is a tension setting and the diamond will apparently fall out if they resize it. At this point I am just defeated and I want my rings back! It's been over a month that they had been holding them hostage!! I just told them to do it. They did give me a 20% discount, but this does not make up for all the frustrations I went through. The customer service here is pretty bad, it seems no one there knows what is going on!

Can't even explain where they have gone wrong with my engagement ring and absolutely the worst customer service from the management. They sized my ring wrong even though we spent a good hour ensuring everthing would be perfect. I know my ring size and staff are apparently incompetent to fill out important paper work.

I literally just walked in and when I was asked if they can help I said I would like to browse first. This woman proceeded to follow me around the store talking my ear off but I was trying to get inspired so I'm tuning her out. She stopped talking so I thought maybe she walked away then I look over and realize she has been following g me around the store within a couple feet....obviously I cannot just browse until I need assistance so I just left.

If you want bad customer service, ask for their Store Manager. I can't tell you how many times I was insulted in a period of 15 minutes. I left the store with my purchases only to return them a couple of days later. Keep up the fantastic work.
