Hannah is an incredibly inspiring guide who gives back to the growth of women leaders through teaching a companion rescue course for Mountain Mentors' annual SkillShare, as well as guiding in various clinics at Treeline WOC's Women's Climbing Festival. I can't emphasize enough how incredible Hannah is at distilling information in a digestible way for a variety of clientele, somehow making safety serious and fun all at once. I've taken 3 courses with Hannah now, and would not hesitate to hire her, Andrew, or any of their other guides for a training course, personal guiding, or group event. We LOVE Rock Solid!!!

I signed up for the Four Day Womens Rock and Leadership 18-22 and it was probably the best 4 days of my life. Katie was amazing and supportive and super inspiring. Being around strong females who love to climb and who have experienced the same frustrations as I, was awesome. I felt supported and felt safe and like I could ask any question knowing that it would be answered to the best of your ability. I also felt very supported as I was challenged with all the different skills we went through. I went from knowing pretty much nothing about outdoor sport and trad climbing to walking away with so many skills, such as rappelling, anchor building and cleaning, communication, and gear placement and cleaning. It was an amazing whirlwind of a weekend that sadly had to end, but our last day was an awesome multi-pitch that made me fall even more in love with climbing than before. I am so grateful for this experience and to have met our awesome guide and the other woman on the course as well. I HIGHLY recommend booking with Rock Solid Adventures, they are awesome.
Rock Solid Adventures ..... rocks!!!! :) Our guide Andrew is amazing. He was super calm, safety conscious, and let us try to figure things out on our own but came in at the right time if he noticed we were struggling. He is a super experienced climber but didn't seem bored or patronizing to us total newbies. In short, we couldn't have asked for a better guide or experience! They have all the equipment --- tons of shoe sizes and even helmets to fit our big heads! It was an epic day that none of us will forget! It was more challenging than I thought it would be but do-able and if it wasn't as challenging I don't think we would have thought it was so much fun. I also have some pretty serious health issues and he made sure he worked around those and made it safe for me! We all loved him and would give him way more stars if it were possible!
Hannah was patient, funny, and caring for all personality types in our group. I had been waiting all summer for an intro to outdoor climbing course and this was more than I could have asked for. We spent a lot of time climbing with newly learned techniques, rappelling, anchor-setting, and reviewed the safety of the rock, our anchors, and belay. Hannah also taught us specs on climbing gear and gave us excellent recommendations for starting out. I will definitely be taking more courses through Rock Solid Adventures in the future!
I did a half day multi-pitch climb on the 4 Sept 2017. I am very happy with the service provided by Andrew. He was very helpful in providing transport options to travel from Vancouver to Squamish and he was prompt to response to my queries. On the day of the climb he was clear with his instruction and took safety seriously. Highly recommend and Rock Solid Adventure. I have a great time climbing with Andrew.
