At this Food Basics the staff were very visibly cleaning and helpful and friendly. The prices are great! I normally go elsewhere but will now make this my new store for groceries. It's the extra touch that stands out. Lately it has be stressful to shop, it was not here.

Always friendly, courteous staff. They really need to purchase a cart retriever like most other grocery stores have and not make the employee push them back into the store manually.I know that they can certainly afford one.Tell a manager this when you see them and help the employee who makes minimum wage out.

I find their produce is very hit or miss, we have spent a fortune on produce, only to have it all go bad, in the following 3 days, this has happened more than a handful of times. I will say though, there is a customer service associate, that helps customers with getting their cart to shop and receiving the carts to clean, he's an older man, my goodness, what a kind and compassionate soul he is!! He is such a beautiful person inside and out and my husband and I always look forward to seeing him, when we go! Puts a smile on anyone's face and is so passionate about helping customers :) I give 5 stars to him alone! Many people of Norfolk talk about this man and feel the same way, there was a huge shout out to him, on the Simcoe and Area Facebook Group and sooo many people share the same experience. To me, this man either deserves a raise and employee of the month, at the very least :)
