The wife and I camped here for 2 weeks a couple years ago, and don’t understand the bad reviews ! We had a nice time here ! We selected a spot that was in the far south east corner and it was quiet, shady and the hookups were fine. Staff were quite nice and pleasant folks. I appreciate they regularly patrol the campground, if you don’t like feeling safe and secure, maybe go elsewhere. Our cats even enjoyed watching all the little birds about, and their time leashed up going for walks. This is the second time we’ve been here, and would definitely come back again. Oh...by the way, Malakwa is native for ‘ big mosquito’. Don’t like ‘skeeters...don’t go during skeeter season!!

We had a two week stay there. I was a little weary with reading the bad reviews before we booked but went for it. Yes there is highway noise, not the owners fault. Yes there are mosquitoes, you are camping. It’s an older place, I liked that about it. We followed the rules and were left alone. The pool booking was nice and pool area was clean. All in all the place was great. We had a nice big site. Highly recommend staying here. Conveniently located.

This is such a wonderful, family friendly campground. We stopped here for a night on our way to another campground, and were presently surprised at how cozy, and kid friendly it was. Lots for the kids to do, safe to ride bikes around, off the main road. A huge bonus for us, was how quiet it was. No rowdy parties, everyone was respectful of the rules!

Beautiful, treed sites with full hookups. Looks like they have awesome amenities as well, but with COVID-19, many were closed. Felt safe and comfortable as they had many procedures in place to protect campers. Very quiet and family friendly. About 15 minutes driving from the beach & only 10 to Dutchmen Dairy ;)

We had a great time at the Sicamous KOA. The staff are super friendly and were able to accommodate a last minute change we had to our reservation. The campgrounds and clean and spacious. While most campgrounds had their pool closed due to Covid, we were able to enjoy pool time each day with a daily sign up procedure developed by the staff here to minimize the number of people in the pool at one time. This was our second year here and have already booked for next year. We look forward to our time here each year.
