Is there a 10 star option? Seriously, Paul went out of his way to help me in almost every step of planning for building my garage. I contacted him at the beginning of the summer with nothing more than wanting to build a garage. Once Paul stepped in the project literally took off. He supplied me absolutely everything I needed, all supplies down to the staples to put on the typar. He worked with me to pick up colours, supplied me with plans, saved me about 3 months of planning. Every time I came up to build, that was the only thing I needed to focus on, the supplies were at my cottage before I even arrived. Really awesome stuff Paul and Marie! Literally all their employees are very happy to help as well. Going to get them a bottle of wine once COVID is over and personally thank them. Sincerely a happy garage owner.

Shields is a great store and community anchor. Paul, family and his crew always provide the best service and advice to customers. If someone on staff is not familiar with your issue, someone else on staff usually is. They also support many local charities and local lake associations, including our Four Mile Lake Association. We usually get all our cottage \stuff\ there.
Awesome local hardware store with a massive range of supplies. Excellent and personal customer service from a team who really know their stuff. Coby is fortunate to have this service.
Excellent customer service. They have been able to supply everything we needed to build our deck. The staff really know their stuff and are more than happy to impart their wisdom. Great small town feel with the supplies available at the bigger stores.
