The main examiner at this facility has the personality of a stick. I know its his business to be strict in grading a student because he is signing off on whether they are competent to drive a vehicle but greeting an individual with license, registration and insurance does little to put a teenager or other at ease. I have dealt with other examiners who actually ask a student how are you today or are you nervous then they proceed to speak with them to establish a rapport. Yes i know its not their job to be friends but have a little compassion to make them feel at ease. Aside from the examiner the people operating the front counter are pretty easy to get along with and this score does not reflect on them.

Absolutely a circus show, no one has any clue what they're doing. They cancelled my road test and told me to rebook else where and that they would not refund me, despite the Alberta Government website stating that if a road examiner cancels the test due to an unfit vehicle, that it may be rebooked and pro rated. Obviously the registries must work on different rules from Alberta Government, so I went and booked with AMA as I needed to have this done before April, and of course had to pay up front online. I am low income and had to pay the 85 fee twice. Then I get a call today that they decided they will rebook me for free, this is after I paid. Dianne was incredibly non helpful, and a lot of the employees should be brought into a meeting so everyone is on the same page and don't miscommunicate to customers and make them pay twice.
I like this registry. Lots of booths open and one of the quicker ones I've dealt with compared to edmonton ones
The fact that they charge you extra to use your credit card should be illegal. Find a better registry that isn't trying to nickel and dime their customers. I have it 2 stars because the lady I dealt with was nice.
Time and time again I have witnessed the worst customer service I have ever seen in my entire life at this place. I come in there for a last name change for my daughter and I bring a court order saying I HAVE ALL RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES. And they tell me I need a new one saying the father has no rights. WHY WOULD MY COURT ORDER SAY I HAVE ALL RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OH AND TO ADD THE FATHER DOESNT. It doesn’t get much clearer than stating I have all rights and legal responsibility for my child. I go to the wye road location to which I got the supervisor who APPROVED to take the application. Don’t waste your time at this establishment. Support a business with good customer service.
