Needed denatured alcohol for some shelac. For some reason it's available anywhere in the US ( Home Depot, Lowe's Ace), but this is the first place I've found it in Canada. Mineral spirits makes my shellac gummy. Denatured alcohol dries quick and it's good for atleast 6months.
Very good experience at this store, especially when you are a newbie trying to figure out what you need. Special callout to Mickey who helped us a lot.

While trying to buy paint this afternoon I was unsuccessful as the "gentleman" working the counter couldn't be bothered to help me. He was too busy talking to the french painter about how much better looking french women are and so on... he purposely lowered his voice while discussing their looks Quite unprofessional, should keep his chit chat to a minimum and worry about helping customers within the store
They are friendly and give good paint advice, even critique your colour selection if you ask them.
