I've been here 4yrs. And since my first bad customer service experience in this place I've tried to avoid it. But recently I needed to buy something there for my business. It had been so long since id been there I didn't think about what happened before. This time an even worse experience. Omg I've worked in customer service most of my life. I've taken public relations. This store has the worst PR I've encountered. Go in a good mood come out in a horrible mood. I usually can recover quickly from bad service I don't let it ruin my day. But this time it ruined my effin day. I'm so blown away by the extremely poor management of this store. I see I'm not the only one. So many bad reviews. How do they keep getting away with their horrible customer service? Is it because they have no competition here? That shouldn't be an excuse. I'm seriously thinking of making a video of this place and interviewing the owner. And write up some articles. Spread the word how bad this place is. I'll choose a store in the city from now on. Update: Well apparently they are recently under new management. Sounds like things might get better, I really hope so. The new manager is really nice and actually emailed me and apologized. He sounds very professional and genuine. I needed a garbage can lid and he gave me one he had. That was actually above and beyond. But I really appreciated it. Thanks Mike!
Absolutely terrible. Bought a product online in the pre Christmas sales with a nice discount. It was available lots of places then at the discounted price. They said it would be ready for pickup Dec 31st. Not. Called and was told it was stuck on truck between Alberta and BC. Ok. Jan 13th the price is charged to my credit card. Jan 15th they send an email saying the order has been cancelled. Was told by Canadian Tire web support to call the store and ask for the Manager. Did so and got someone called Aaron who basically said too bad; we don't have it available. Can't explain why they sold it and don't have it; may never have it. We do have some Cuisinarts but don't know if they are similar quality. Then he hung up. Won't shop here again.
Awesome place, awesome people. Everyone here will go out of their way to help you. Some people need to remember that the pandemic has caused the manufacturers to not have all items readily available, this is not the stores fault...
Best Canadian Tire store I've ever shopped at, very helpful staff and very seldom have I been disappointed by not finding a item advertised in the weekly flyer in stock.
