I am trying to plan a trip with my family, something different! Thought this might be the thing to try! To navigate their website is definitely not "user friendly". I wanted to see where we could go and possibly view a map of where via travels to but that map is non existent. Called and that was a fail as well. I will keep trying to do this as it's a trip my family and I would love to experience then I will post a review on the trip itself.. THIS REVIEW IS BASED SOLELY ON THE WEBSITE....NOT AN ACTUAL ON TRAIN EXPERIENCE....

I took a return trip from Vancouver to Saskatoon with my grandchildren. On the outward journey the train was 11 hours late arriving and on the return trip it was 9 hours late. I realize this is not totally the fault of Via, but I really think they should lower their prices to reflect the inconvenience. Also they really need new train cars, the existing ones are very dirty and have some broken seats, foot rests etc. Windows could also do with a good cleaning to better see the only interesting part of the trip - going through the Rockies. And 1 dome car for the use of a couple hundred economy passengers is ridiculous! This was my 3rd time doing this trip - I don't think I will do it again.
Dirty old need to be renovated, employees are wonderful.

Baggage Handling was great, station is alright. However, washrooms could have been better.
Plan to be late. But it's the funniest ride ever.
