I hadn't been there for awhile so took a few minutes to get my bearings. Found what I was looking for without assistance. Good service at checkout

Huge hunting and outdoors retailer. Great service, there are lots of staff always walking around ready to assist you in any of the departments. Great camping and hiking selections, fishing and hunting, bows, guns and ammo. Make sure to check out the bargain cave in the back with great deals and discounts.

I went in looking for a specific hunting blind but they were out of stock across the country. The employee that looked after me was terrific, he looked it up and told me how to check it on line with the product number. He could have just said they weren't in stock but he took the extra step. Nice to see.

Everyone here is super friendly and helpful. We went in a few days ago to get our pet’s picture taken with Santa and the elves were beyond amazing. We were very appreciative of the complimentary photo! The Santa, however, was practically asleep in his chair. No greeting, no laughing— nothing. Would not recommend for those with children :(

My recent experience at the Saskatoon Cabela’s was very disappointing. The first clerk was very helpful. I showed him what I was looking for in the flyer and he took me to the gun department where there were three clerks. None of the three clerks were interested in helping me even though I was the only customer in the department. I showed them what I was looking for and the clerk immediately told me it was not in stock. They did not try to offer other guns which were on display, they just dismissed me. They suggested I look online and I asked if they would help with that seeing as I was already in the store. The clerk said it would be easier for me to do it my self and continued his conversation with his coworkers. I was prepared to spend over 600 and was willing to look at alternative items but they were clearly not interested in helping at all. In a time when retail stores are struggling during this pandemic, I would think that all customers and sales are important. That is clearly not the case at this location.
