I started going to the Bookmobile on my street as a child. I love going to the library and have been to many across Lambton County. The Concerts and the film series were wonderful. A huge assortment of magazines and periodicals, and books. If they don’t have it there, they will find it for you. Friendly and helpful staff. I enjoyed visiting the library, then to the Cromwell Grill for a delicious lunch, with a new book. I hope we will be able to visit in person again by Fall2021

I grew up in Sarnia during the '80s, before moving to Calgary in the early '90s. When I moved back to Sarnia from Alberta in 2010, I rented a small apartment downtown on College Avenue. I didn't sign up for cable TV right away, so I had to find other ways to amuse myself until I could secure a job. I took many walks along the waterfront, and through the shops along the way. I also discovered the Sarnia Library! I LOVE to read and was thrilled at how close my new home was to the public library. I signed up for a library card and spent many afternoons pursuing the shelves for a literary gem (I found many!) My initial loneliness was lessened by the kind staff at the library. I've since returned to Alberta, but my heart holds a special place for the Sarnia Library.
There is nothing like reading an actual book and opening it up one page at a time. Books are amazing! Sarnia library will find it if they don’t have it, their staff is extremely helpful and friendly. It’s not just books, there are computers, art display, printing, free Gale e-courses, and they throw events for both adults and children. There are so many things offered at the Sarnia library, check it out!
I love the library and free wifi:-)
