Great variety the arts, food, and people. Hadn't been on Salt Spring Island for over 20 years. Still the same great experience. Definitely recommend for a day trip, away from the hustle & bustle. Found meself, some beautiful local art to take home with me.

To be honest, it is a typical market. There is some really nice pottery stands. There is also a really cool stand where the guy carves granite and rock. He had some really neat stuff.Otherwise, its soaps, jewelry, candles, woodwork, and produce. The biggest disappointment to me is that it is not dog friendly. Every market I have been to allows dogs. I unfortunately did not look into this and caught a ferry with my dog. I had to take turns with my friend to check out the market which took the fun out if it.

Wow! People grow some amazing produce on this island! A number of vendors selling so good choices! I only wish there had been a bread vendor and then my shopping would have been complete!

A good small town market where vendors offer the classics in food and artisanal items. There appears to be no meat or fish vendors but plenty of stores nearby. For regular farmers' market go-ers it may not feel unique.

Albeit a little crowded at times, but one of the best things to do on the island. Really great seasonal veggies and fruit. Interesting artisans, baked goods and food vendors.
