Amazing local bike and ski shop. The owners and employees are knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming to newcomers; they go out of their way to help people get connected to the Shuswap outdoor community which they are deeply involved with. Their bike shop is super capable and has always gotten my bike dialed exactly as requested. Snowshoe and nordic ski rentals are good quality and inexpensive.

We are in town visiting from Squamish. We were looking forward to doing a family ride in the beautiful mountains here. My husband’s front wheel had the wrong size rotor put on and when he went to change it, one of the bolts was stripped and would not come off. We went to Skookum to ask for help with ONE bolt. The customer service person refused us any help stating that the technicians were too busy. We are small business owners ourselves and have never refused service to somebody in need. Very disappointed with our experience and will not be back.
