My family has been fishing here for 70 years . My parents were going here since before I was born over the years I've fished here with my small children and have a soft spot for this place I called to make a reservation to bring one of my grown sons for a couple of nights fishing. I tried my best French but really considering I'm making a transaction with my credit card I asked the girl if she spoke English .she said simply sorry NO im very disappointed I didn't think language would play a part in something so pure and wholesome needless to say I won't be recommending la barriers to anyone soon

I visited this Pourvoirie with a friend of mine last week on July 30th, 2020. Honestly I never write reviews but after the service I received on this trip I felt they really deserve it. The place is just beautiful. The people who work there were some of the most friendly and polite people I have ever had the chance of meeting. We caught 8 fish amongst the two of us. A mix of Rainbow and Speckled Trout. It was really a great trip and we definitely plan on returning. Highly recommend.

Great fishing, great hosts and great cottages. They have some Golden Trout, which is the only place I know in all of eastern North America that has. I also went to fish big trout on both Saturday and Sunday morning, caught 3 x 3.5 pound rainbow trout and a magnificent 5.1 pounder! They offer good tips about where the fish usually hangs around and sell everything you need to catch them on site (Atomic Teaser or a variety of spoons, depending on the weather). My best outfitter experience yet!

At first glance this place is quite nice, the service received by Vicky was great for Dinning always polite . We had the VIP pkg for 2 days of large trout. WE did not catch anything , the trout did not even bite. Heard stories from other people there for a week that caught a total of 12 between 4 - 5 of them. The food was decent always warm and well cooked. We had also a Chalet A2 and it was nice, sadly the patio door doesn't not lock. we mentioned it to the receptionist and sadly nothing was done, pretended to care..id say. The Screen door also did not slide. They were out of worms for fishing.... I am not sure why fish wouldn't bite.. although they maybe fed really earlier in the morning ? OR.. the water is too hot. we did fish deep 40 to 50ft. below with a 4 foot drag not even a nibble. On a last note. The owner was about to say possibly we didn't have the technique or lures to properly fish.. which the comment should of been kept to themselves. I sadly will not be returning and trying somewhere else. Note to everyone. VIP PKG is not worth the money!!!
