Beautiful, expansive park. Campsites are a little close together. Make the hike up Ernest Laforce to hopefully see a few moose and get an amazing view at the top. As with most Quebec national parks, most things are in French but you can get by using English. The waterfalls and lakes are beautiful as well. Skip the beaver hike.

Beautiful, massive park--so many options and trails for those of all abilities. The roads to get to the main building are very well maintained and although windy, smooth. We did a few hikes, but the only downside is that very few trails allow dogs, so our options were limited :( My boyfriend enjoyed some fishing along the rivers, but you must get a SEPAQ permit first!
Extraordinarily beautiful place. Lots of mountain trails and lakes to explore. One of our favourite parts of the trip was walking the Tour du Mont Albert, an 8-hour trail. A difficult uphill climb led to beautiful mountain views and a plateau, followed by a steep rocky descent and a long bumpy trail between Mont Albert and the surrounding mountains. The terrain was difficult for nearly the entire walk, so I wouldn’t recommend it for young children or seniors. For my husband, my 15 year old daughter, and me, it was a fun challenge and an amazing experience. It was definitely one of the highlights of our 10 days trip in the Gaspé region. Definitely a place to go for anyone love hiking or nature in general.
Did the Mont olivine hike, 8km by car south of the visitor center is the trailhead. 8km return, in/out trail 400m elv gain. Overall great hike and walking into a moose and it's baby was great! The fact that you have to pay for a national park on Canada 150 is ridiculous!
Great place to hike with amazing views. The gite was a great place to stay after our hikes.
