Pretty good snow base. A bit of ici patches here and there. Not too many runs are open. The best runs used the t-bar lift instead of the chair lift today.

As beginners, today my daughter and I had a very poor first time snowboarding experience. No instructors were available and we struggled to learn on our own. My daughter fell and hurt herself and was in tears. We asked to switch to skis, but were turned away because they didn't have any boots left that would fit my daughter. We were very disappointed that they couldn't accommodate us. While I hope that my daughter and I would like to try snowboarding or skiing again, it's unlikely that we'll return to this hill. It's a shame because I think more experienced skiers and snowboarders were enjoying themselves as did our more experience friends. Unfortunately, we did not and I left feeling that I had wasted my money, time.
